This item is made in organic cotton mixed with organic linen. For SISSEL EDELBO, it is important to choose better alternatives fabric wise. By using a 50/50 blend of organic cotton and linen, we maintain the crisp linen hand feel while preserving the softness and durability of cotton. The key benefit of using an organic cotton-linen mix is that the organic cotton contains no chemical pesticides or fertilisers and requires much less water than conventional cotton. Additionally, the linen is European Flax Certified, meaning only minimal fertilisers and pesticides are used compared to conventional linen. At the end of the day, this is a more conscious choice compared to conventional cotton-linen mixes.
